This coffee almost feels like the best of two worlds: Ethiopia and... Kenya!
When we first had this coffee, we had some strong black currant and blackberry notes, and these are classic in high quality Kenyans. But we also had the stone fruit and milk chocolate qualities of coffee from Oromia.
This coffee is stunning and is the perfect everyday coffee for people liking a bit of acidity. Its very round and sweet, and those fruits feel like marmelade.
We are also happy about what Osito is doing in Ethiopia. Green coffee purchase from the Jimma zone helps raising money for a primary school, and may children are already benefiting from this wonderful initiative.
