This is our second time buying from Ture Waji, owner of Sookoo coffee, via our import partner Osito.
Sookoo coffee's first client and partner was in fact Osito, and they have a very close working relationship.
Since the price for cherries is quite stable in Ethiopia, the difference in the coffee prices from the country comes from the steps exporters take after the cherries were bought. And Ture Waji is renowned for his meticulous process and high quality coffee.
Some will do minimal work and sell ''typical'' naturals, and other like Ture will produce a stellar product.
Shoondhisa is one of the cleanest natural Ethiopian we know and we are happy to have it on your menu year round.
Its floral and fruity tone finishes in a subtle honey like sweetness. It's a beautiful coffee.
